Disco Iskandar: where folklore and entertainment converge. Disco Iskandar is an award-winning, nationally touring belly dance company based in Orlando, Florida. Originally founded with a cast of five in Los Angeles, California, the company now includes twenty members in chapters in California, Texas, and Florida.

With a mission of maintaining artistic and cultural integrity, fostering creativity, and creating unforgettable experiences for audiences across the US, Disco Iskandar is unparalleled in groovy goodness.

The company celebrates the dances of North Africa, Southwest Asia, and the American stylizations inspired by these regions, such as American Cabaret and transnational fusion. Being both researchers & entertainers, Disco Iskandar's dancers craft a unique experience dripping with 1970's glam while paying homage to our influences: Anatolian Rock, Raqs Sharqi, regional folk dances from Egypt, Iraq, & the Levant, and of course: disco.
